I could start by telling you nothing interesting has happened this week but then I would be lying.
Although coursework wise I had not done a lot this week my horse decided to have a huge fight with a mare (he is a gelding).
He was fighting over food, he is very personal about his feed and Allie the mare tried to steel it so he went after her in vengeance, in an attempt to stop them beating the hell out of each other my yard owner tried throwing rubber brushed at them trying to scare them out of it, this did not work, eventually they split and Calum got pulled out bleeding all over the yard, he had a small cut on his foot that cleared up after 2 days and you can barely see it know but from the amount of blood and winging and limping he did you would think someone had cut it off, this event made the rest of the week very interesting as he normal lives out but because of his injury we had to being him in and he was stabled for 48hours to ensure he hadn't done any bad damage and that he would be well for when he saw Allie again, they are know living piece fully in their field with two other mares Ziggy and Ebonee. hopefully they will all stay friends.
